Premium Line

The future cannot be conventional: As a world-first, the Premium Line Film & Paper turnkey system allows paper or film finishing on a single system. The brand-new web concept ensures rapid product job changeovers, even between substrates, and warrants high production reliability, especially in the area of "Luxury Vinyl Tiles" (LVT). Simultaneously, the innovative drying makes for long term energy-saving. With the Premium Line, we are taking evolution to everyday use!

One system—twice as innovative: the Premium Line Film & Paper system's state-of-the-art, sustainable NIR drying unit relies on electrically generated radiant heat, eliminates the need for fossil fuels and significantly shortens the web run in the system.
In the newly developed printing and coating unit, on the other hand, the impression roller core acts as a fixed point for the first time. Thanks to a significantly improved web run, the system ensures uniform web tension. Thus reduced tension on the substrate during system starts and stops drastically reduces web breaks and waste.

Premium Line - a new generation

The Premium Line Film & Paper system is the next evolutionary step in printing and coating on film or paper. Both the newly developed printing and application cylinder as well as the ultra-modern drying unit make Premium Line a fixture for the future.

The printing and application unit

While conventional printing and coating units use the impression cylinder as a fixed point for the web run, the innovative Premium Line Film & Paper uses the impression roller core for this purpose; the impression cylinder and ink tray are attached.
Because starting and stopping the printing process does not cause any changes in web length, the stress on the substrate is significantly reduced. Tears in the paper webs or overstressing of foils are therefore a thing of the past.

Thanks to the high degree of automation, all settings in the unit can be motorized. A counter roller can be installed or retrofitted if required.

The drying unit

Premium Line brings sustainability and drying of web-shaped materials into harmony! Based on the near-infrared principle (NIR), the drying unit uses electrical energy—spot on and with quicker drying than ever before.
Heat losses are minimized because, unlike drying processes using natural gas, the entire system does not have to be heated up!

The drying unit at a glance

Low inertia
Very fast response—drying capacity is available immediately
NIR enables fast production temperature changes (with gas: waiting time until the system has heated up or cooled down. This results in idle/reactive power with gas-powered drying, as these cannot be switched off during production interruptions to prevent the assemblies from cooling down)
The NIR system can be used for drying film
Radiation acts on the paint/water, heats the substrate only indirectly (with gas: the substrate is heated directly, the melting point of the film is exceeded)
The NIR system enables a significantly reduced web path and therefore a more compact system size
