Battery calendering
Many years of experience in the design and manufacture of calendering systems enables JCS to supply the high-quality mechanical engineering and process reliability vital for electrode calendering in battery production.
In a closed loop LIB production process, the calender can be adjusted with an accuracy of 1 µm, combined with maximum loads of up to 4,000 N/mm in widths of up to 1,200 mm. The overall concept of the entire system is adapted exactly to each customer requirement. This includes, for example, a wide variety of preheating systems, such as IR or laser systems. Efficient data management in conjunction with various measuring systems ensures high-quality data output and thus completes the overall concept.
