LabCoater++ / CL300-1+
The new LabCoater++ has been designed primarily for product and coating development when applying 100% acrylic coatings to films or paper substrates. With the three-roller application unit, the conditions of a roll-to-roll production system can be simulated in smaller scale, provided the corresponding process engineering parameters are met.
Shorten development time
Lengthy developments are thus significantly shortened in the first step without having to occupy a production machine.
With appropriate coating formulations, TopCoats can be produced in the laboratory with
- haptic effects,
- high degrees of matting,
- anti-fingerprint effect,
- extreme scratch, UV and chemical resistance.
Settings for pre-gelation, PAC, excimer and UV DirectCure technology from IOT can also be customized.
Modular, variable, expandable
During development, we placed great emphasis on suitability for everyday use. Easy handling, modular application systems and high variability characterise the LabCoater++.
By adding an NIR drying system, LabCoater++ also allows developments in the field of water-based paint formulations.
